We'll see you this weekend at Sunday Parkways

Renaissance Homes is thrilled to sponsor Sunday Parkways this year. We'll see you this Sunday -- Mother's Day -- in East Portland from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Grab some friends and take to the streets. Beginning this weekend, five neighborhoods in Portland will be a playground for athletic opportunities. And Renaissance employees are excited to meet all of you at the upcoming events throughout town.
Presented by Kaiser Permanente, Sunday Parkways fosters the community through five events over five months in five neighborhoods of Portland. At each event, roads in a neighborhood loop are closed off so walkers, runners, bicyclists and mobility device users can enjoy physical activity in a safe, six to nine mile loop.
Bike rides coming up:
May 11: East Portland on Mother's Day
June 22: North Portland;
July 27: Northeast Portland;
Aug. 24: Southeast;
Sept. 28: Southwest.

Enjoy food, games, entertainment, fitness classes and demonstrations along each route and its surrounding parks. Organizers expect more than 100,000 participants in 2014.
This event aligns well with Renaissance’s culture to build the best, LEED-built homes in Portland that save our homeowners money each month through green technology.
Portlanders are leaders in the green community and Sunday Parkways highlights the city’s local business corridors, unique neighborhoods and active community organizations. Renaissance company president, Randy Sebastian, is a proud triathlete and Iron Man competitor who often checks out our homes under construction by bike.
We hope you all enjoy the opportunity to spend time outdoors exploring these unique areas. And stay tuned to our website for updates leading up to each event. We’ll host special bike-themed events the weekend leading up to Sunday Parkways routes.
And, mark your calendar. Renaissance is offering free bike tune-ups on June 14 from noon to 3 p.m. at its move-in ready home at 3733 N. Baldwin St. – just in time for the June 22 Sunday Parkways ride.
