Then, Randy introduces Dave Teller from customer service. Dave explains the walk through process and the final steps before closing and moving in! We're doing a video series to explain to you guys exactly why Renaissance Homes are built better than any other builders and then detail the construction process of what we do to build you the most energy efficient, best built home in Portland. We're in fact the number one LEED builder in the state, no other builder builds as many LEED certified homes as we do and there's a reason for that: Renaissance Homes are just built better. So I want to show you guys exactly what we do. Home Move-in Process Alright, welcome to your new Renaissance Home. Come on in. We put a lot of hardwoods in our homes, dining Rooms, entryways, nooks, kitchens. We put a lot of design into our kitchens, Sandy Humes our kitchen designer, all our cabinets are custom built for the homes. You can notice the undulated kitchen tops, extra tall cabinets, and then they raise elevations of the cabinets, its nice. This particular home has a built-in oven, a microwave, and the cooking against the wall with the hood fan, and then full heights backsplash, this has got soapstone backsplash or limestone excuse me and then 3 CM granite so lots of detail in our kitchens. In addition to that our nooks are good size for family living and the great room is right over there. Lets talk about the move in process. Renaissance Homes we really pride ourselves in customer service, we've been building homes for 26 years and we make sure everybody is super happy when they move in. It's very organized, our customer service person will walk through every aspect of the home with you so you understand all the features and benefits of the home. Also talk about our warranty and exactly when there is a warranty issue, how it's handled how we handle it, and how it's scheduled. We really don't have a lot of warranty issues our homes are very well built but when there are we do get on it. We also have all your green certifications be it earth advantage or LEED and those are all given to you at the time of closing, excuse me the time of walkthrough. We really make sure it's an informative easy process so you know exactly everything thats going on with your home. Schedule an afternoon for it, it really takes a while but you have the best built home in portland and you deserve to have it explained to you. Homeowner Walk Welcome to Renaissance Homes and your quality assurance homeowner walk. I'm going to explain the complete process of this house. For the next year you're going to be my customer. It is my goal, to make sure that your homeowner experience is a pleasant one. Throughout this process I'm going to be explaining to you how to change your furnace filter, how to winterize your sprinkler system, the operation of your fireplace - as we know that has a battery operation which is a backup in case you have an emergency. We have a number of built in features within the house. We have other features that we like to bring about in the house: appliances, hardwood floor maintenance, repair sheet rock, tile repair and backsplash, caulking separation in your backsplashes. Those are the things that I deal with throughout the year process. Well thank you, this pretty much concludes the walk that you have, at least the process of which we are going to be going through.
