King is a very diverse neighborhood and is known for being a social hub and very multi-culturally minded located in Northeast Portland. It is bordered by the Boise, Humboldt, Woodlawn, Sabin, Eliot and Irvington neighborhoods. King is extremely close to Alberta Arts District and runs along Martin Luther King Jr, Blvd. This eclectic neighborhood has great access to downtown Portland and close to a number of freeways. King’s central location makes it one of the best neighborhoods to commute from, receiving a Walk Score of 90 and a bike score of 98. Of course, residents don’t need to commute far to have most of their needs met. Portland’s King Neighborhood has over 125 restaurants, and individuals can walk to an average of 7 restaurants, bars and coffee shops within 5 minutes.
