Unraveling the truth about our green carpets

At Renaissance Homes, we’re often asked about the unique product lines we carry and why we prefer to go above and beyond what is required for sustainability compliances, as well as aesthetics.
And with emerald green chosen as Pantone’s 2013 “Color of the Year,” our green offerings seem even more appropriately stylish.
Our Everstrand carpeting is made from recycled plastic bottles. According to the manufacturer, “one in every four plastic bottles recycled in North America becomes Everstrand.” And then, it becomes a comfortable amenity in our homes.
And our KRAUS carpets utilize ZipperLock technology and come with a 10 year warranty for residential wear, raveling edges, stains, fading and fuzz.

With regular loop pile carpet, one lose yarn could unravel into an unsightly continuous area of missing thread.
