Custom Home On SW Scholls Ferry Rd

Renaissance Homes Custom Homes Division recently broke ground on 16 acres of private land off SW Scholls Ferry Rd. Renovations has teamed up with the owner of the property to complete site improvements and build a 3,800 sq ft home, which was designed by our in-house design team specifically for their property.
The entire project is scheduled to complete in January 2013, but it will be worth the wait. There are many site-specific factors to take into account on this, as with any other project. We aim to personalize every project to the client's specific property or home, but it is equally important to pay attention to the specifics of the location so you don't run into problems in the future. Our Scholls Ferry client was wise to choose a general contractor like Renaissance Homes for their project, as it is a multi-layered project that requires the leadership of an experienced general contractor to be done right.
Often times, owners opt to take on the general contracting duties themselves to “save” money, only to find themselves overwhelmed and the project in turmoil. To make sure this project is done right, our design team started working with the client several months before the groundbreaking. The team held several brainstorming sessions and site evaluations with the client to determine the best positioning of the home on the acreage site. Renaissance home designer Kraig Lemay then began designing the home and several working renditions until it was just right and approved by the client. By offering the option to design in-house, Renaissance saves its clients 20-50% of the typical retail costs of plan design and engineering.
