The Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival is in full bloom and open to the public through May 4. Enjoy train rides through the fields, rubber duck races, pony rides, a café and gift shop. It’s fun for the whole family – and a great spot to get photos taken with Mt. Hood in the background. Plus, gardeners can order bulbs for fall planting and learn tips. If you have time to make it a day trip, Silver Falls State Park and the Oregon Garden are also close-by. The Aurora National Historical District is also a fun stop to visit the antique shops and architectural salvage shop. The Tulip Festival is located at 33814 S. Meridian Road in Woodburn and is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day and costs $10 per carload.
